This Privacy Policy describes how Tambool LLC ("Tambool LLC," "Doot," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Doot service — including our website, apps, phone calls, and text messages (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Doot is a service operated by Tambool LLC. References to "Doot" in this Policy mean the Service operated by Tambool LLC.
As part of the Service, Doot sends text messages to landlords and tenants — for example, to request availability for a maintenance appointment, confirm or update a scheduled repair, or relay account and service information. By providing your mobile phone number and using the Service, you consent to receive these text messages from Tambool LLC at that number, including messages sent by automated systems.
Your choices: message frequency varies based on your use of the Service, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information collected through this text messaging program is shared with third parties, affiliates, or subsidiaries for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This does not include our service providers who help us deliver the messaging program itself (see Section 5), who are bound to use that information only to provide the Service to us.
We work with third-party service providers who process information on our behalf to deliver the Service, including:
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Doot or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
Calls placed by Doot on your behalf may be recorded and transcribed so that we can report results back to you and improve the Service. Call recording laws vary by jurisdiction — some U.S. states require the consent of all parties to a call. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service, including any recording or transcription of calls you direct, is lawful in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of the party being called.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can update or correct your account information within the Service, or contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice — for example, by posting the updated Policy with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
